SmartBrain

SmartBrain is a cognitive training application that was developed and tested for effectiveness as part of scientific studies during Dr. Zubers doctoral and postdoctoral research at the University of Basel, Switzerland. SmartBrain trains different aspects of your working memory using three interesting tasks. You can select an auditory, visual and a spatial working memory task. Selecting and adjusting the duration of the tasks allows for targeted training that is tailored to your needs. In addition, the tasks adapt to your performance on an ongoing basis, allowing you to train at your individual performance level.

Use SmartBrain - now!

We are offering the use of SmartBrain for free. SmartBrain is developed for two purposes.

  1. SmartBrain can be used by everyone that wants to train working memory, specifically people that experience difficulties with their working memory. We showed that SmartBrain can increase the working memory performance in older people aged 50 years or older. Therefore, we suggest the use of SmartBrain for this age group. Read more about the research on SmartBrain here.

  2. SmartBrain can be used in our scientific studies. Thus, it will be used by participants that are part of an ongoing study. In this case, participants will receive a code from the study personnel. Are you interested in using SmarBrain for your research? Please contact us via the contact form.
