Grant awarded by the Dutch National MS Fonds

At the National MS Day on the 29th October 2023, I was awarded with one of three grants of the Dutch National MS Fonds for research on MS for a new study “Prepare the mind: enhancing the effect of cognitive rehabilitation in MS by training conscientiousness“.

This multicenter study will be carried out in collaboration with Prof. Hanneke Hulst at Leiden University, the Netherlands, Prof. Ralph Benedict at the University at Buffalo, United States, and Dr. Corina Schuster-Amft at Reha Rheinfelden, Switzerland. Starting in November 2024, we will investigate if the effect of cognitive rehabilitation can be “boosted“ by preparing the mind before the program. In total, 126 people with MS will be included in the study over all sites.

Find more information on the study on the website of the National MS Fonds here.
